Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition is a game that many of us liked and enjoyed when it was released. One of the main reasons behind this is certainly the fact that we do want to relive the older days in which the main focus of any RPG was on creating the best gameplay and not the shiny graphics. Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition successfully manages to be, even up to this day, one of the best remakes for certainly the best RPG of all times.
The iOS version of Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition did come with numerous bugs at its release unfortunately, pretty much like the windows version itself, but thankfully these issues have been solved pretty easy thanks to the dedication of the development team.
The version 1.3 of Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition for iOS has been released recently and it does bring all those much wanted necessary changes and fixes that we did want from the game. Finally, the Drizzt colors were fixed and the signature scimitars were game back to him, which certainly brings us back to play even more. Now the fabled character can now be played accurately in one of the best RPG experiences of all times.
Since the game was initially available only for the iPad, now all iOS players, including the ones with the iPhone can play the game. This is quite a huge deal because making the title available on the small screen is certainly a step forward.
But the fixes do not stop here. We do receive a wide range of bug fixes and some tweaks, as well as some much needed interface improvements which include a better fond size that can be changed at any given time.
It’s expected that Baldur’s Gate 2: Enhanced Edition will most probably get the same treatment, but considering the large amount of time it took for gamers to receive this update, they shouldn’t wait for the other game to be updated soon. Our hopes are up though!
