Ball Miner – Game Review
Although we all like major game titles that do eat up a lot of our time, sometimes what we need is a simple, relaxing title that we can play during breaks, and this is where Ball Miner comes into play. This title has a very simple concept and it was specifically designed to provide us with enough excitement in order to fill our breaks. Our main objective in this game is to dig as deep as possible in order to grab gems and uncover high scores.
However, while underground we will also be uncovering chests as well as numerous power-ups. The idea is to roll the ball in the best possible way in order to get the best results, as this is the most important thing.
Despite the fact that the gameplay might seem easy at first, you should not make this assumption, because it’s not true, as the gameplay can be quite hard, especially the lower you go. You will encounter more and more challenges that will either increase your speed or provide you with other disadvantages. This is why you always need to think ahead and come up with a plan that will help you get the most out of any situation, as this is essential.
Ball Miner is all about having the best reactions in any situation and putting them to the test as you are required to access the best route. The power-ups included with the game are actually very helpful, as they will help you get the most out of any situation, allowing you to increase your score and access even harder areas. These include things like TNT barrels or the time stop function which does come in handy countless times as you play.
In Ball Miner you will have the opportunity to unlock seven different balls that you can control, and the neat thing about them is that each one has its own special power. Switching between them will provide you with a very intense, unique game experience that you will certainly enjoy.
Graphically, the game looks really nice, especially for a free title. The backgrounds look really neat and on top of that the physics provide realism, which is neat. We also liked the soundtrack which is very engaging and carefully created to provide the exciting atmosphere that you might want from such a title.
Overall, we are very impressed with the quality that Ball Miner provides, despite being a free title. Thanks to numerous ball types and a variety of gameplay mechanics, Ball Miner is a very good title for those situations when you are bored and want to play something. It might not be a revolutionizing title, but it works well and you will surely love it, especially if you play for passing the time.
