Candy Crush Soda Saga – Games Review
In a very short time, the developer King has made a name for himself by offering one of a kind mobile game experiences that are visually pleasant but also very challenging. Their flagship title was definitely Candy Crush Saga, a match three game with interesting visuals and a very addictive gameplay.
Candy Crush Soda Saga is the predecessor to that wonderful title and it’s basically a game where you get the same awesome gameplay, with some new additions. In fact, the main addition here is the challenging soda. Why are we calling it challenging? Mainly because in most levels you will need to pop the soda bottles as fast as possible. A single soda pop will raise the soda level with a set of bricks, and as you go through the game there will be more and more levels to beat. The title actually comes with around 160+ levels, so there’s a ton of fun to be had, even though we have to warn you that the game gets hard rather quickly and you might find yourself playing the same level for hours.
But this is what makes Candy Crush Soda Saga a very good game, the fact that everything is a challenge and that you get longtime game value, which is really neat to say the least.
Of course, we get hew types of candies, more interesting combinations and of course, the purple soda that will raise exponentially as we play.
But that’s not all that comes with Candy Crush Soda Saga. In fact, you will receive numerous new game modes such as Soda, Frosting and Honey that make the game even more interesting and unique, as well as new types of fishes that can be unlocked when you match at least 4 candies in a square.
We also get new characters included within Candy Crush Soda Saga, and even though they are similar to the ones included in the first game, they fail unfortunately when it comes to bringing the same longtime appeal.
Graphically, we have spotted quite a lot of new animations, as well as some improvements in graphics as well, which basically make Candy Crush Soda Saga one off the prettiest match three games you can play right now on Android. Lastly, there are some in-app purchases that you can pay for, but in true King spirit you won’t have to pay for them, although you can do that if you want, especially in the later levels where things can get a little crazy.
Overall, we found Candy Crush Soda Saga to be a very interesting, appealing and simply stunning match three game that brings a ton of value. It’s fun and very interesting, so we recommend it to every person that has an Android device and just wants to relax. Be aware though that the later levels can become quite a nuissace.
