Earn to Die 2 – Games Review
Are you a huge fan of the Walking Dead? Do you just yearn to ram zombies on your super cool death machine of a vehicle? Earn to Die 2 is definitely the perfect game for you!
Earn to Die 2 is a free to play 2D side scrolling game with tons of zombies for us to kill and annihilate. The story is simple; the undead have taken over the country and you have to find a vehicle to reach a rendezvous point somewhere across the vast country littered with many checkpoints or petrol stations along the route. There is a military aircraft at the rendezvous point that’s ready to take you away to apparent safety. The problem is that there are waves of zombies and other physical obstacles in the way.
The controls in this game are fairly simple. On the right side of the screen are the buttons for acceleration and booster. On the left are another two buttons that controls the trajectory of your vehicle while you’re in the air or when your vehicle is upended like a turtle on its back and needs to be flipped over. By the way, the booster button won’t appear if you haven’t upgraded your vehicle yet. The left buttons can be a bit hard to get used to but they do make all the difference in helping you reach the next checkpoint. I find it very useful in keeping the vehicle down when it looks like it’s going to turn turtle.
Each stage of Earn to Die 2 offers slightly different route to take, with some being quicker while others get you more money. Money earned is needed to upgrade your vehicle. Without upgrading your vehicle at the garage, you can never expect to reach the next checkpoint. Either you run out of fuel, out of booster or your vehicle is so damaged that you can’t proceed anymore.
Luckily, each time you try to reach the checkpoint but don’t succeed, you still earn cash for the distance covered. Use this cash earned to upgrade various aspects of your vehicles. The upgrades can include better tyres, more boosters, more fuel capacity, better armour, faster speed and so on. I find that the booster is a key factor that can help to propel your vehicle through tougher sections of the route. After a few checkpoints, you’ll unlock a new vehicle and repeat the process all over again.
As there is an in app purchase store, you can of course use real money to upgrade faster. However, if you are patient enough, you can get by without having to use real cash. You can even earn extra cash by watching free video ads.
Earn to Die 2 is truly an addictive game as it draws you in, and while you’re so engrossed in the mayhem, hours has gone by without you even realising it! So get right into Google play store to download and install this awesome game. It definitely has that ‘one more go’ factor in its game play as I find myself going back again and again to complete a stage and to get a new vehicle.
