Space Ape Games is a developer that’s widely known for his Samurai Siege game, but it seems that they want to bring us a new strategy title with even more depth. This is how Rival Kingdoms: Age of Ruin has been created apparently, and they plan to release it later during the month.
Simply put, Rival Kingdoms: Age of Ruin enters a fantasy realm where we will be a new recruit that has to create a camp, recruit and nurture armies as well as create alliances in order to defeat the Ruin members.
The cool thing in Rival Kingdoms: Age of Ruin is that you will be able to hire Ancients that will help you during your battles, and you will definitely have a great time, especially since the game places a lot on cooperative play, which is rather nice and exciting.
It seems that Rival Kingdoms: Age of Ruin will also bring in a lot of focus on the narrative, but after seeing the screenshots you can easily see that there’s a lot going on out there, with multiple visual effects and a ton of other cool stuff being gathered there. The mobile games are always attracting a new audience and Rival Kingdoms: Age of Ruin might be the game that shifts strategy gamers from PC to tablets or mobile phones, because it seems that the game uses pretty much the same mechanics, yet it also brings portability.
It’s nice to see such a game appear on the market, and we have to wonder what will happen with Rival Kingdoms: Age of Ruin when it reaches the market this month. With numerous strategy games like Clash of Clans already established, the strategy market on mobile is quite hard to break into, but we do think that this game has a lot of chance. What do you think?
